I admit it. I am a fan of gadgets and when I saw this, I was completely intrigued by the idea of being able to replace multiple items with one product. In complete honesty, I really did need a blender and a mixer and the combination of both in one machine (with all the other attachments!) - made this a dream purchase (if it worked). It works. I haven't had a chance to use the pasta or meat grinder attachments (coming soon) but what I can tell you about is this:The mixer design is really well thought out. The lid for the bowl to prevent spills has silicone (?) pads built into it to keep it securely in place when used and to reduce noise from vibration. The mixer bowl itself is huge and can handle some seriously large dough balls. The size of the mixer is only a problem if you make tiny batches of baked things. The mixer doesn't do well with the equivalent of three serving batter mixes because of its large size. The grippy feet on the bottom hold really well. I have placed mine on a plastic sheet used for cutting foods so I can slip it back and forth on my counter as needed. Otherwise, those grippy feet would never let me slide the machine around. If I need to secure it so it doesn't "walk" across the counter when in use, I put it on the counter, not the plastic sheet. The blender works perfectly and it is fun to use.The vegetable grater/slicer/shredder attachments are handy when you only have 1 or 2 small items you need to take care of. It is not meant to do industrial, high speed shredding/grating/slicing so be aware of that when you need that job done. Also, because of that - you can't force things through it like you can with a hand grater or a more industrial gadget. Slice or cut small enough that you don't need to force anything is your best bet. Softer, wetter foods like apples may require more time and a more deliberate assessment of how to cut them for the feeder to make things operate smoother.Interesting things to know:there is a handle on the side that will "release" the top of the mixer so you can pull the bowl out. Push lever back and wait for top of mixer to separate and rise. If it isn't moving, you might have moved the lever in the wrong direction or not enough or there's something in the way.All the end caps that you need to remove for the front end attachments or the the blender on top will be tight. It will take a little getting familiar with it to remove them easily (also some use will improve their out-of-box-stiffness) so don't panic if you find yourself struggling with them on first few tries. Also, don't force it. Take your time and it will pop off for you gently. Re-attaching them is no problem at all.And best part of all, it is not noisy. Some kitchen appliances are so noisy that it sounds like a jet plane is landing on your roof. This is noisy (it IS a mixer/blender, after all) but not nearly to the obnoxious levels some of my appliances have been in the past. All in all, this was a purchase well worth the investment. I am delighted with the design and the details they paid attention to along the way.First – I am not getting paid or anything for this. I’m just in love…A bit about me – I’m someone who tries (and I stress the word ‘tries’) to be frugal. I make a lot of my own foods because I feel it’s healthier and, let’s face it, a lot cheaper to make at home. One of the things I tend to make a lot is bread. Every couple of days. (Whenever it gets low… At least 3 times a week.)As someone who tries not to overspend, I couldn’t justify $200+ for a stand mixer. Not when a hand mixer is so cheap, and usually lasts a few years. I spent $5 for my last one and got almost 9 years out of it… It died right before Christmas. (Boy did that suck!)Anyway, it got me looking. And honestly, I’ve been drooling over stand mixers, so I finally decided to price them again. When I stumbled across this one with all the attachments… I kept thinking, really neat, but nope. Still too expensive. But, I kept thinking about it and thinking about it… Well, it’s January 6th 2021 and I have it sitting on my counter. The verdict -I SHOULD’VE DONE IT SOONER!!This thing is amazing. All the attachments are a bit intimidating at first (just because they’re a lot at once) but! It’s actually really simple to use. Easy clean up. Surprisingly it’s actually very quiet. I wasn’t expecting that. Does it make noise? Yes, of course. However, my hand mixer made a lot more noise when it was brand new than this thing does.First thing I did was to try to make bread. I feel like I cheated. It was just so dang easy. With how often I make bread – this thing is well worth it. And I haven’t even tried the rest of it yet! The bowl was so clean when it was done, that all I really had to do was wipe it down; same with the dough hook. Much less mess (and waste of flour) than before! The mixing bowl is very deep. The mixer attachments are heavy duty. The whisk is huge. (Oh the meringues are gonna be so nice!) The Blender is such a nice, heavy quality glass – I haven’t seen one like those since my Great Aunt’s!! They’re usually a cheap plastic, but not this one!The grinder is metal and has some weight to it. Looks like if it’s taken care of it will possibly outlive the blender itself. The ‘weakest’ parts are most likely the pasta maker and the sausage maker. As they are plastic. They’re not ‘heavy’ plastic – but not really cheap either. Somewhere in the middle.Truthfully, as long as this thing is well maintained, it should last several years. I’m definitely in love with it! Can’t wait to try the pasta maker out!Oh, and a little note about the ‘little cookbook’ that came with it. First starters – it’s not a ‘little’ cookbook. It’s decent sized. Not huge, but definitely a decent size. Has a nice mix of newer and classic recipes. Even a few copycat recipes. The book is a very nice addition to the home chief’s recipe collection!I bought this mixer and was very excited about all the things it can do along with the value! Everything was great till I started to use the blender and the motor went out. I contact the seller that gave us instructions to troubleshoot and it still didn’t work and after that I received a new mixer in 2 days! I can say that all though my experience was not perfect but the resolution and how responsive the sellers are will not deter me from purchasing more products from this company. But the mixer has made my cookies, muffins, cakes on Sundays and got me thru the major holidays and dinners with the awesome attachments! This is a great value for your money!Clearly I made the wrong choice in buying this mixer. I was impressed at first, it worked exactly as expected until it didn't! I guess I should have went with the name brand who will stand by their product, meanwhile these guys are changing their name and provide no way of contacting about their faulty product.I bought this mixer and never open it until today. I realized that it doesn’t come with a sausage maker like the description.Ordered white one, but Amazon Fulfilment Center shipped red color. The red colour is basically various color plastics panels spray painted red. I suspect this is a way of refurbishing imperfect parts at the factory. If you really have to order this, order white or that blue-green colour version since it seems that's what the colour of the plastic is without spray paint on.Since returning this is too much trouble, we decided to at least take it out of the package and try it out to see if it works... I was willing to live with the spray-painted red. Well... unfortunately the unit we received was DOA. when plugged it in, there are no lights, no power, no sound at all. It is completely dead right out of the box.Do not waste your money on this. Would have been a 5 star if the blender hadn't broken within only 2 months of purchase and perhaps used less than 6 times. Makes me wonder about the overall quality. The blender blade just wouldn't spin even though you could hear the motor running.Update: Amazon will not stand by the product because it’s out of the 1 month return period so I’m stuck with a very costly and defective item.Update: Manufacturer is not responding to attempts to reach them. Will update on support received by seller.Great stand mixer that gives you all the add ones without the add on costs. I’ve made burgers and sausages with the grinder and sausage stuffer. The suction cup bottom is great to ensure your mixer doesn’t run away on youVery versatile machine. Vasltly outperforms the Kitchen Aid we had before machine and attachments very well made.I am not sure I like the pasta attachments. The dough does not come through the attachments very well and the pasta discs are very hard to clean.
